Cameron Michelle Diaz, born on August 30, 1972, is an American actress. She’s famous for starring in both funny and serious movies, which altogether made over $3 billion in the U.S. Diaz became well-known for her looks and talent, becoming one of Hollywood’s top stars. She received awards and nominations, like for a BAFTA Award and four Golden Globe Awards.

Diaz was born in San Diego, California, but grew up in Long Beach. Even in high school, she started modeling and later began acting. Her big break came at 21 in the movie “The Mask” with Jim Carrey. After that, she starred in many popular films like “There’s Something About Mary” and “Charlie’s Angels.”

Apart from acting, Diaz wrote two health books that became bestsellers. She’s also known for her personal life, including marriages and having children. Diaz took a break from acting after 2014 but returned to the screen in 2022.

Throughout her career, Diaz has been involved in environmental causes and supported veterans’ organizations.
