Daniel James Roebuck, born on March 4, 1963, is an American actor and writer. He’s been in movies and on TV.

In movies, he’s known for playing Deputy Marshal Robert Biggs in The Fugitive (1993) and its sequel U.S. Marshals (1998). He was also Mr. Banks in Agent Cody Banks (2003) and its follow-up Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London (2004). He’s been in several movies directed by Rob Zombie, like The Devil’s Rejects (2005) and 3 from Hell (2019), where he played Morris Green.

On TV, he’s famous for playing Cliff Lewis, a private investigator, in Matlock (1992–1995), and for being Dr. Leslie Arzt in Lost (2004–2010). He’s done voice roles in video games too, like Gary Finkel in Dead Rising 3 and Greez Dritus in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

Roebuck was born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, in 1963. He went to Bethlehem Catholic High School, graduating in 1981.

His first movie was in 1985, called Cavegirl, where he played the lead role. After that, he appeared in more movies like River’s Edge (1986) and Dudes (1987). From 1992 to 1995, he played Cliff Lewis in Matlock, and he also appeared in Nash Bridges as Insp. Rick Bettina. He played US Marshal Bob Biggs in The Fugitive (1993) and U.S. Marshals.

In 1996, he acted as Jay Leno in The Late Shift, a TV movie. Leno liked his performance and talked about it positively on his show. He’s been in lots of other TV shows and movies since then, like Final Destination (2000) and The Haunted World of El Superbeasto (2009).

Roebuck has been involved in faith-based work too. He’s a Christian and, with his wife Tammy, started a non-profit called A Channel of Peace in 2020, which makes movies about faith.

In 2022, he became the host of Classic with Daniel Roebuck on New Evangelization Television in the New York area. He also got a role in the 2022 Rob Zombie film The Munsters, playing The Count.
