David Howard Thornton is an actor from America. People know him for playing Art the Clown in the Terrifier movies. He was in Terrifier (2016), Mistress Peace Theatre (2020), Terrifier 2 (2022), and Bupkis (2023). He will be Art again in Terrifier 3 (2024). He acted in other movies, TV shows, and video games too. Some of them are Two Worlds II: Pirates of the Flying Fortress (2011), Ride to Hell: Retribution (2013), Invizimals: The Lost Kingdom (2013), Gotham (2017), The Bravest Knight (2019), The Exigency (2019), Alma’s Way (2021), and The Mean One (2022).

In his career, Thornton has also used his voice for different characters in movies, anime, TV shows, and games. In 2011, he voiced Malvic, Volran, and Tengo in Two Worlds II: Pirates of the Flying Fortress. He did other voices in 2013 and 2015. He even played the Joker in a fan-made web series called Nightwing: Escalation. Later, he was in Gotham, which had characters from DC Comics.

In 2016, Thornton played Art the Clown in Terrifier. People loved the movie, and he got nominated for an award for his role. In 2022, he played Art again in Terrifier 2, which did really well in theaters. In the same year, he was also in The Mean One, a scary version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

Thornton came back as Art the Clown in the 2023 show, Bupkis, and will be in Terrifier 3 too. He will also be in Night of the Living Dead 2 and Stream.
