Demi Patricia Singleton, born on February 27, 2007, is an American actress, singer, and dancer. She is most famous for her roles in TV shows and movies. In the crime series “Godfather of Harlem,” she plays a character. She also acted as young Serena Williams in the film “King Richard” and as Sally Reeves in the western series “Lawmen: Bass Reeves.”

Demi was born in Baton Rouge. Her family comes from Honduras and Dominica. When she was young, she moved from New Orleans to New York City. There, she learned music, dance, and acting from top teachers. Demi started ballet at age three and cello at four. She went to a special music school in Brooklyn and learned to play instruments by listening. At nine, she watched a Broadway show with kids performing and decided to become an actress.

Her acting career began in 2017. At ten, she joined the Broadway show “School of Rock” by Andrew Lloyd Webber and later played young Nala in Disney’s “The Lion King” on Broadway.

In 2018, Demi got a role in the crime drama “Godfather of Harlem” with Forest Whitaker. She played Serena Williams in the movie “King Richard,” released in 2021, about the Williams sisters’ journey to tennis fame guided by their father, Richard Williams. Demi also appeared as young Serena Williams in a commercial in 2019.
