Dianne Doan was born on September 8, 1990, in Canada. She is an actress known for playing Kora in season 7 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Dianne grew up in Abbotsford, British Columbia. She became interested in acting when she took drama classes in grade 9. She also started learning dance when she was 10 years old.

As a young adult, Dianne performed as a dancer in the Opening Ceremonies of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and danced backup for Michael Bublé. She has also danced in music videos for artists like Big Time Rush and Marianas Trench, and appeared on Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance.

Dianne’s acting career took off when she got the role of Lonnie in Disney Channel’s Descendants, where she played Mulan and Li Shang’s daughter. The movie became popular and led to sequels and spin-offs.
