Gulshan Devaiah is an Indian actor who mostly acts in Hindi movies. He is famous for his roles in films like Shaitan, Hate Story, and Hunterrr. His acting in Shaitan was liked by critics and got him nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.

Devaiah was born on May 28, 1978, in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, to a Kodava family. He studied at Cluny Convent and St Joseph’s Indian High School. After finishing at NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology), he worked in the fashion industry for 10 years and also taught fashion in Bangalore. Later, he moved to Mumbai for more acting opportunities.

He was married to Greek actress Kallirroi Tziafeta from 2012 to 2020.

Devaiah started his acting career with small roles in Bangalore’s English theater. He made his film debut in Anurag Kashyap’s “That Girl in Yellow Boots” in 2010 alongside Kalki Koechlin and Naseeruddin Shah. He got noticed for his role in the movie “Shaitan” in 2011, which was a success. He then acted in films like “Hate Story” (2012), “Peddlers” (2012), “Ram-Leela” (2013), and “Hunterrr” (2015), among others. He won awards for his role in “Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota” (2017).

In 2020, he appeared in Amazon Prime’s series “Afsos” and Netflix’s “Ghost Stories.”
