Janhvi Kapoor was born on March 6, 1997, in India. She acts in Hindi movies. Her mom is actress Sridevi and her dad is film producer Boney Kapoor. Janhvi made her movie debut in 2018 with the film Dhadak, which did well at the box office. After that, some of her movies didn’t do as well financially, but she got nominated for awards for her roles in Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl (2020) and Mili (2022).

Janhvi went to Ecole Mondiale World School in Mumbai. Before she started acting in films, she took acting classes at Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in California.

Janhvi’s first movie was Dhadak, a romantic drama, where she played a young girl from a rich family who falls in love with a boy from a different background. Even though the movie got mixed reviews, it did well at the box office. Janhvi won an award for her debut performance.

She then appeared in Ghost Stories (2020) and Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl (2020). For Gunjan Saxena, she spent time with the real Gunjan Saxena to prepare for her role as an aviator. Critics had different opinions about her performances.

In 2021, she starred in Roohi and then in Good Luck Jerry (2022), which were both remakes of other movies. In Mili (2022), she played a woman trapped in a freezer. Even though these movies didn’t do well in theaters, she received nominations for her acting.

Janhvi starred in Bawaal (2023), a romantic drama, and got criticism for her performance. However, she will be in upcoming films like Mr. & Mrs. Mahi and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari with Dharma Productions.

Janhvi Kapoor has been recognized as one of the best actresses by Rediff.com and has endorsed brands like Nykaa, Drools, and Aldo. She’s also appeared in the Times Of India’s list of most desirable women.
