Jovan Adepo is an actor from both Britain and America. He started acting in movies with “Fences” in 2016. After that, he acted in “Mother!” in 2017, “Overlord” in 2018, “Babylon” in 2022, and “His Three Daughters” in 2023.
Adepo also acted in TV shows like “The Leftovers” from 2015 to 2017, “Sorry for Your Loss” from 2018 to 2019, “Jack Ryan” in 2019, “When They See Us” in 2019, “Watchmen” in 2019, “The Stand” from 2020 to 2021, and “3 Body Problem” in 2024. He got nominated for an Emmy for his role in “Watchmen.”
Early in his life, Adepo was born in 1988 in Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire. His mom is British Nigerian, and his dad is African American. They moved to the US when he was two, and he grew up in Waldorf, Maryland. He acted in school and church plays.
He went to college at Bowie State University in Maryland and got a degree in political science and philosophy. After that, he moved to Los Angeles in 2011 and started doing acting workshops. He decided to pursue acting seriously after taking classes and workshops.
Adepo holds citizenship in both the UK and the US.
