Lupita Amondi Nyong’o is an actress from Kenya and Mexico. She has won awards for her acting, including an Academy Award. Lupita was born in Mexico City on March 1, 1983. Her dad, Peter Anyang’ Nyong’o, was a Kenyan politician. Lupita grew up in Kenya and later went to college in the United States. She started her acting career in Hollywood, and her big break came when she starred in the movie “12 Years a Slave” in 2013. Since then, she has appeared in many films and even on Broadway. Lupita is also known for her work supporting historic preservation and speaking out against sexual harassment. She wrote a children’s book called “Sulwe,” which became very popular.
