Peter Mensah is an actor who was born in Ghana on August 27, 1959. Now he lives in Canada. You might know him best as Oenomaus from the TV show Spartacus, which aired from 2010 to 2013. He’s also been in movies like Tears of the Sun, Hidalgo, The Incredible Hulk, 300, and Avatar.

Peter Mensah grew up in Chiraa, Ghana, in a family that valued education. When he was young, he moved to Hertfordshire, England, with his dad, who was an architect engineer, his mom, who was a writer, and his two younger sisters. Mensah started learning martial arts when he was six years old.

Even though Mensah liked acting in school, he originally studied engineering. He moved to Canada to work as an engineer for British Gas, where he helped develop gas fields in Morecambe Bay.

In addition to acting in movies like Avatar and 300, Mensah has appeared on TV shows like Star Trek: Enterprise, True Blood, and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. He’s also lent his voice to characters in video games.

One of his most famous roles was playing Oenomaus in Spartacus. He’s been involved with Comic Con and has had recurring roles in popular shows.

Mensah is also known for being the voice of Predaking in Transformers: Prime.
