Tilda Cobham-Hervey, born on 4 September 1994 in Adelaide, South Australia, is an accomplished Australian actress. Her parents are Geoff Cobham, a set and lighting designer, and Roz Hervey, a dance teacher and former dancer. Growing up, Cobham-Hervey was heavily involved in physical theatre, starting her training with the youth circus troupe Cirkidz at age nine, where she specialized in hula hoop, trapeze, and acrobatic pitching. She attended Marryatville High School and performed in various physical theatre productions, including touring shows with Force Majeure.

Cobham-Hervey’s career took off when she won the lead role of Billie in the independent film “52 Tuesdays,” which was critically acclaimed and premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. This role led to her signing with Creative Artists Agency in the United States and United Management in Australia. Following this, she appeared in several other films and theatre productions, including “One Eyed Girl,” “Fucking Adelaide,” and her stage debut in “Things I Know To be True.”

In 2017, Cobham-Hervey directed a short film, “A Field Guide to Being a 12-Year-Old Girl,” which won the Crystal Bear for Best Short Film at the Berlin International Film Festival. She starred in the major film “Hotel Mumbai” and portrayed Helen Reddy in the biopic “I Am Woman,” earning praise for her performance. Cobham-Hervey also co-wrote and co-directed the short film “Roborovski” with Dev Patel.

In 2023, she starred in the Amazon Prime TV series “The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart” and took the main role in the stage adaptation of “The Dictionary of Lost Words.” Cobham-Hervey has returned to Australia after living in Los Angeles and continues to work in theatre and film. She has been in a relationship with Dev Patel since 2017, and the couple moved to Adelaide in 2022.
