Thomas Vincent Savini was born on November 3, 1946, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He’s an American who’s really good at making fake faces and body parts for movies. He’s also an actor, a person who does dangerous stunts, and sometimes he directs movies too.
He’s most famous for his work with a director named George A. Romero. They made a lot of movies together, like “Dawn of the Dead” and “Day of the Dead.” Savini also worked on scary movies like “Friday the 13th” and “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2.”
When he was a kid, Savini liked to scare his friends by making himself look like a monster. He learned how to do this by practicing with makeup on himself and his friends.
Savini was in the army during the Vietnam War. He took pictures of what was happening there. Even though it was really scary, he tried to think of it like making movie effects. This helped him deal with what he saw.
One time, he accidentally caused some chaos by shooting at something he thought was dangerous. It turned out to be nothing, but it taught him a lesson.
Apart from making scary things for movies, Savini also acts in them. He’s been in lots of movies, playing different characters, like bikers and bad guys.
He also directed some episodes of TV shows and even directed a remake of a famous zombie movie.
Savini is really good at fencing and doing gymnastics, so he’s able to do cool stunts in movies. He’s also written books about how he makes scary effects for movies and has a school where he teaches others how to do it too.
