Premise of Civil War
Soon, a group of reporters traveled across the United States while a big fight was happening everywhere. They’re trying to stay alive during a tough time in the future when the government turns into a scary, controlling place, and some extreme groups keep causing trouble with violence for their beliefs.

Production
In January 2022, it was said that Alex Garland would write and direct a movie for A24. Kirsten Dunst, Wagner Moura, Stephen McKinley Henderson, and Cailee Spaeny would act in it. Later, Karl Glusman joined the cast in April. Garland explained in May that the movie is related to another one he made before, set in the future, discussing issues we face today using sci-fi.
Filming started in Atlanta on March 15, 2022, then moved to London in May. The budget was $50 million, making it the most expensive A24 film.
