Jeff Fowler

Jeff Fowler is an American filmmaker and animator. He’s famous for directing movies like Sonic the Hedgehog (2020), Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022), and the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (2024). He also made a short film called Gopher Broke in 2004, which got nominated for an Academy Award.

In his career, Fowler worked as an animator on films like Rockfish (2003) and Where the Wild Things Are (2009). He’s been involved in writing, directing, and animating various projects, including A Gentleman’s Duel and CGI work for the video game Shadow the Hedgehog (2005).

Fowler’s Sonic the Hedgehog movie originally faced criticism for its character design but was delayed and redesigned before its release in 2020, earning better reviews. He’s also set to direct a reboot of The Pink Panther and has been involved in TV series like Knuckles.
