Michael Sarnoski is a filmmaker from America. He is most famous for creating and directing two films: Pig (2021) and A Quiet Place: Day One (2024).
Early Life and Career
Sarnoski grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and finished school at the University School of Milwaukee before going to Yale University.
In 2015, Sarnoski helped produce and edit a short documentary film called The Testimony, directed by Vanessa Block.
In 2021, Sarnoski directed his first major film, Pig, starring Nicolas Cage, Alex Wolff, and Adam Arkin. It came out on July 16, 2021, by Neon.
In January 2022, it was announced that Sarnoski would write and direct A Quiet Place: Day One, a prequel and spin-off to the A Quiet Place movies. The film features Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff, Djimon Hounsou, and Denis O’Hare. It is set to come out on June 28, 2024, by Paramount Pictures.
