Synopsis of Lisa Frankenstein
Back in 1989, there was a girl named Lisa Swallows. She was a bit different and liked the goth style. One stormy night, something extraordinary happened. Lisa somehow brought back to life a very old but good-looking dead person from long ago. He was from the Victorian period, which was a long time before.
Lisa had an idea! She wanted to change this old guy into her dream man. But here’s the funny part: she used a broken tanning machine in her garage! With some spooky and playful moments, they changed the old guy to fit Lisa’s idea of the perfect man.
Then, they both went on an adventurous journey. But it wasn’t just any journey—it was a journey full of surprises and a bit of scariness. They were looking for true love and happiness along the way. Oh, and they were also searching for some missing body parts! Can you imagine that?
Together, they had some wild and crazy times. Sometimes, they did things that were a bit scary. But they wanted to find love and be happy, just like everyone else.
So, that’s the story of Lisa and her Victorian man on their unusual and exciting journey. They were quite the pair—looking for love, happiness, and a few body parts, all in one wild adventure!

Production
Diablo Cody wrote the story for Lisa Frankenstein. In June 2022, she said she’d make the movie with Mason Novick. Zelda Williams, who’s new to making long movies, will direct. The film stars Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse. In August 2022, they told us more actors were joining: Liza Soberano, Carla Gugino, Joe Chrest, and Henry Eikenberry. They started filming in New Orleans around that time. They planned to keep filming until September.
