About Brothers
“Brothers” is a new American action comedy movie directed by Max Barbakow. The script was written by Macon Blair based on a story by Etan Cohen. The main actors are Josh Brolin and Peter Dinklage, who play the brothers in the movie. Legendary Pictures produced the film.
The movie will be released in some theaters in the United States by Amazon MGM Studios on October 11, 2024, and then it will be available on Amazon Prime Video starting October 17, 2024.

On February 28, 2019, Legendary Entertainment bought the project after a competitive bidding war. Etan Cohen was chosen to write the script. Josh Brolin and Peter Dinklage were set to star in and produce the film. The movie was said to be similar in style to the 1988 film “Twins,” which starred Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito as unlikely twin brothers.
Later, on April 30, 2020, Macon Blair joined as the director and co-writer with Cohen.
On June 3, 2021, Glenn Close joined the main cast, and Max Barbakow became the director. Two months later, Brendan Fraser and Taylour Paige were also added to the main cast.
The main filming took place in Atlanta in November 2021.
On March 7, 2022, it was announced that Macon Blair would receive credit for the screenplay, Etan Cohen for the story, and Max Barbakow and Mike Rosolio for additional writing.
