‘Here’ is a new American drama movie directed by Robert Zemeckis. It was written by Eric Roth and Zemeckis, based on a graphic novel by Richard McGuire. The movie stars Tom Hanks, Robin Wright, Paul Bettany, and Kelly Reilly.
This movie brings together Tom Hanks and Robin Wright again, and Robert Zemeckis and Eric Roth for the first time in thirty years since “Forrest Gump” was released in 1994.
You can watch this movie in theaters starting November 15, 2024, distributed by TriStar Pictures, which is part of Sony Pictures Releasing.
Premise
The story talks about what happens on a piece of land and with the people who live there, from long ago to far into the future.

Production
The movie version of Here by Richard McGuire was announced in February 2022. Playtone and ImageMovers will make the movie. Eric Roth is writing the script, Robert Zemeckis will direct it, and Tom Hanks will star in it. When the Cannes Film Market started in May, Robin Wright joined the cast, Miramax became the main money supporter and international sales agent, and Sony Pictures Releasing will release the movie in the U.S. Paul Bettany and Kelly Reilly joined the cast in September. Leslie Zemeckis joined in February 2023, and Michelle Dockery and Gwilym Lee joined in April.
Filming was planned to start in September 2022 but started in January 2023 at Pinewood Studios in London. The movie will use a new kind of artificial intelligence technology called Metaphysic Live. It can change actors’ faces and make them look younger or older in real time while they are acting. They won’t need to change their faces later using computers.
Release
Originally, the movie was supposed to premiere in Los Angeles and New York on November 15, 2024, through TriStar Pictures by Sony Pictures Releasing. After that, it would have a small release in the United States on November 22, 2024, and a bigger release on November 27, 2024. But on June 21, 2024, Sony Pictures said they would release the movie everywhere on November 15, 2024, instead.
