About Terrifier 3
“Terrifier 3” is a new scary movie set during Christmas. It is written and directed by Damien Leone. The movie stars Lauren LaVera, Elliott Fullam, David Howard Thornton, and Samantha Scaffidi, who all played in the earlier movies. This film follows “Terrifier 2” (2022) and brings back Victoria Heyes, a possessed character, now with a bigger part.
The story focuses on Art the Clown and is the fourth full movie featuring this character (including the film “All Hallows’ Eve”) in the Terrifier series. “Terrifier 3” will be released in theaters on October 11, 2024.
Premise
Art the Clown causes trouble for the people of Miles County as they sleep peacefully on Christmas Eve.

Production
Casting
This movie will have Victoria Heyes, the main character who became a villain in Terrifier (2016), playing a much bigger part than she did in the 2016 movie and its 2022 sequel. The director, Damien Leone, felt that Victoria’s character wasn’t developed enough in the first film. Originally, Victoria was supposed to die at the beginning of Terrifier 2, but Leone changed this idea because it was too much like another movie, Malignant (2021). Instead, he decided to keep Victoria alive and give her more character development because he enjoyed working with the actress, Samantha Scaffidi.
In December 2023, it was confirmed that Chris Jericho would be in Terrifier 3. In April 2024, it was confirmed that Daniel Roebuck would play Santa Claus in Terrifier 3. In May 2024, it was announced that Tom Savini would also appear in Terrifier 3.
Filming
In May 2023, it was announced that Terrifier 3 would start filming in November or December 2023. The main filming began in February 2024 and finished in April 2024.
Release
In June 2023, Cineverse got the rights to show the movie in North America. They planned to release it in many theaters and also show it first on their streaming service, Screambox. The movie was first set out in theaters on October 25, 2024. But in May 2024, they moved the release date up by two weeks to October 11.
Sequel
In 2023, Damien Leone talked about making a possible Terrifier 4 movie.
