In a special talk with us, actress Park Min Young shared about her part in Marry My Husband. In the show, she plays Kang Jiwon, a woman who wants to get back at someone.
Park Min Young is famous for being in many successful dramas. She was in What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim with Park Seo Joon and Healer with Ji Chang Wook. People know her as the ‘Queen’ of office dramas. Now, she’s also in Studio Dragon’s Marry My Husband, playing another cool character.
About Marry My Husband
The story is about Kang Jiwon, played by Park Min Young. She is a regular office worker and is sick with cancer. One day, feeling very unhappy, she goes home and discovers that her husband, Park Minhwan (played by Lee Yi Kyung), is cheating on her with her best friend, Jung Soomin (played by Song Ha Yoon). Something unexpected happens, and she ends up dead. But then, she wakes up in the past and gets a chance to change her life by making different choices. Along the way, she meets Yoo Ji Hyuk (played by Na In Woo), who becomes an unexpected friend in the drama Marry My Husband.

Before, we talked to the guys from the show, Na In Woo and Song Ha Yoon. They had a lot of good things to say about their co-star, Park Min Young. The 37-year-old faced many challenges while playing her role, but she did a great job showing revenge in a really good way.
In our special talk with her, the talented actress shared about how she changed to become Kang Jiwon, both in looks and thoughts. She also talked about her plans for this year and the type of character she wants to play next. You can read the whole interview below.
There’s a lot of talk about your journey to becoming Kang Jiwon visually. What was your favorite thing about becoming her and what was the toughest?
For eight months, I faced more than I thought I could handle. Every moment felt like a tough challenge or a mission. It was like I was fighting with myself.
You’ve been the Queen of office romances, which co-star has been the best to work with, in these shows?
Na In Woo is an actor who expresses a lot with his eyes. We connected well from the start and became good partners. We carefully worked on the emotions in the scenes, and the chemistry between our characters got better with many meetings and talks. At first, I thought he seemed tough because of his previous film, but later, he turned out to be like a cute puppy with a lot of affection.
Lee Yi Kyung played a sassy flirt in the role perfectly. He is genuinely funny, and our scenes together were so enjoyable that trying not to laugh became the goal.
I think Song Ha Yoon is a talented actress. She looks a lot like Jung Soomin and performs with a high level of synchronization and passion.
