The actor John Malkovich is going to be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He’s joining the new movie called The Fantastic Four. This news was confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter. We don’t know much about Malkovich’s character yet.
In The Fantastic Four, Pedro Pascal will play Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby will be Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn will take on Johnny Storm/The Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach will portray Ben Grimm/The Thing. Julia Garner is set to play The Silver Surfer, and Paul Walter Hauser has a role too, although it hasn’t been revealed yet.
The movie is scheduled to come out on July 25, 2025. It’s being directed by Matt Shakman, who also worked on WandaVision. The script was written by Eric Pearson, Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan, and Ian Springer, with additional work by Peter Cameron from WandaVision.
The Fantastic Four is important for Marvel. It was first introduced in a comic book in 1961 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. This team is part of the Marvel Universe, which has grown to include many superheroes like Spider-Man and Daredevil.
