The actor known for roles in ‘The Witch’ and ‘Game of Thrones’ might play a major villain for Marvel Studios.
Ralph Ineson, a British actor with a long career including Harry Potter movies and recent horror film ‘The First Omen,’ will be taking on the role of Galactus in Marvel’s new ‘Fantastic Four’ movie.
Galactus is a powerful villain who feeds on planets. In this movie, he targets Earth, which is bad news for everyone.
The film features a star-studded cast including Perdro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing. Other actors include Julia Garner as a female Silver Surfer and Paul Walter Hauser in a mystery role.
The movie, directed by Matt Shakman, is set in the 1960s, the era when the ‘Fantastic Four’ comics were first introduced. The screenplay was written by Eric Pearson, Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan, and Ian Springer.
Ineson is known for his recent roles in ‘The First Omen’ and ‘The Creator.’ He has also worked with acclaimed director Robert Eggers and will soon appear in Guillermo del Toro’s ‘Frankenstein.’
