Don Johnson and Henry Winkler will act together in a new comedy directed by Simon Curtis. The story is about former Broadway stars who live in a retirement home. They decide to put on a show.
Jeremy Irons and Glenn Close, who starred in Reversal of Fortune over 30 years ago, will reunite for this film. They last acted together in The House of Spirits in 1993. In this new movie, Encore, they play Marie and Nigel, former Broadway stars who move into a retirement community. Marie plans to stage a show to reignite Nigel’s love for theater and embrace their new life.
Henry Winkler and Don Johnson are also part of the cast. Simon Curtis directs the film from a script by Robert Nelson Jacobs. The movie will be presented at the Cannes Film Market soon.
