Mark Dodson, who did voices in Star Wars and Gremlins, passed away at 64 in Evansville, IL. His talent agency, Stellar Appearances, shared the news on social media. Dodson worked in movies, video games, and commercials for over four decades, making him a favourite at conventions worldwide.
In 1983, he was in Return of the Jedi, and in 1984, he voiced different gremlins in Gremlins. He returned for Gremlins 2: The New Batch in 1990. In 2015, he expressed Niima Scavenger in The Force Awakens. Dodson also lent his voice to Day of the Dead (1985), Deadwood Park (2007), Kaptara (2007), and Headcheese: The Movie (2020). In gaming, he was recently the voice of Adam Hamada in Ghostrunner II (2023).
Dodson loved meeting fans at conventions and was part of many Star Wars 501st Legions. He leaves behind a great family, friends, and fans worldwide.
