Amazon Prime Video is making a sequel to the movie “Red, White & Royal Blue.” The actors Nicholas Galitzine and Taylor Zakhar Perez will be in it again.
The first movie was based on a book by Casey McQuiston. It’s a romantic story about Alex Claremont-Diaz (played by Perez), who is the son of the President of the United States, and his love story with Prince Henry (played by Galitzine) of Britain.
The new movie’s story is a secret for now.
Matthew López will write the script again, along with Casey McQuiston. Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter from Berlanti Schechter Films will produce the movie again, along with Michael McGrath and Matthew López. Casey McQuiston will also help produce.
The first movie was loved by viewers on Prime Video and got good reviews. They announced the sequel at the Culver Theater after a screening of the first movie. The cast and creators talked about the new project during a Q&A after the screening.
