Overview of Sarh Na Rees Kar
In the movie “Sarh Na Rees Kar,” Rajveer Dhillon and Roohi Sandhu were both studying law at a university in Canada. Roohi was from Canada, but Rajveer came to Canada on a study visa. They fell in love. Roohi dreamed of marrying a Punjabi boy in a traditional Punjabi-style wedding. Rajveer promised to make her dream come true. But things went differently than planned.
Rajveer and Roohi got married at a court because Rajveer wanted to become a permanent resident in Canada. He said they would have the traditional Punjabi wedding after he got his residency. But after Rajveer got his residence, he didn’t keep his promise. They ended up filing for divorce. Both of them were lawyers, so they defended themselves in court. Now, they hate each other. Their houses were opposite each other, so they had to see each other daily.
A year passed, and they both became lawyers but got no cases. They got tired and decided to leave their lawyer jobs. The same day they decided to quit, they got a chance. It was a divorce case. A guy named Happy Bajwa went to Rajveer, and a girl named Harleen Maan went to Roohi. Roohi and Rajveer saw this as a chance to take revenge on each other. They both got involved personally in Happy and Harleen’s divorce case.
They did different things to defeat each other in court. They wanted to win the case to hurt each other. But they got more involved in Happy and Harleen’s lives. They fought hard in court. Would they get Happy and Harleen divorced, or would Rajveer and Roohi marry again?
