The Hindi version of a movie called ‘Soorarai Pottru’ with Akshay Kumar and Radhika Madan won’t come out until next year. It was supposed to be out on September 1, but now it’s set for release on February 16.
Taran Adarsh, who watches and talks about movies, shared this news on Twitter. He said, “Akshay Kumar’s new movie, made by Sudha Kongara, will be in theaters on February 16, 2024. Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal are also in it.”
The reason for moving the release date is to make sure the movie gets a good time to be shown and to have four months between Akshay Kumar’s last movie and this one.
Akshay Kumar is working on making the Hindi version of a Tamil movie. The original had Suriya and Aparna Balamurali and even won National Awards. Sudha Kongara, who directed the first one, is also directing this.
‘Soorarai Pottru’ tells the story of a retired Army Captain named GR Gopinath who started a low-cost airline called Air Deccan. The Hindi remake is supported by Suriya and Jyotika.
Both Suriya and Aparna Balamurali got National Awards for being the best actors in the movie ‘Soorarai Pottru’.
Before this, Akshay Kumar was in a movie called ‘Selfiee’, which came out in February. It was a redo of a Malayalam movie called ‘Driving License’. Emraan Hashmi, Diana Penty, and Nushrratt Bharuccha were also in it. But this movie didn’t do well in the cinemas. Next, Akshay Kumar will be in ‘OMG 2’ with Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam. He’s also working on a movie called ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ with Tiger Shroff.
