A new Bad Boys movie is coming soon. It’s the fourth one in the series. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are back, along with some other actors from the last movie. Some new actors, like Eric Dane and Ioan Gruffudd, will join the cast too.
The movie will appear in the United States on June 14, 2024.

Development of Untitled fourth Bad Boys film
After lots of people went to see Bad Boys for Life at the movies and it did well, Sony said they’re making a fourth movie. Chris Bremner, who wrote the last one, will write this one too.
But things got messy after an incident at the 2022 Academy Awards. Will Smith slapped Chris Rock, and some said the new movie wouldn’t happen because of it. Then, the boss at Sony said it would still occur, even after that incident.
Later on, in February 2023, Will Smith said he and Martin Lawrence would be in the new movie. The directors from the last one are coming back, too. They started working on the movie, and because of that, Will Smith couldn’t surprise everyone at the Grammy Awards.
Then they said Vanessa Hudgens will be in it, playing her character from the last movie. Eric Dane joined as the bad guy, and some other actors from the previous movie are coming back, too. Ioan Gruffudd joined the team in April, and in May, they said Rhea Seehorn would be in the movie, too.

They started taking pictures for the movie on April 3, 2023, in Atlanta, Georgia, and Miami, Florida. On May 22, 2023, TMZ showed videos of Will Smith and Martin Lawrence filming the movie in Atlanta. They had to stop filming in July because of a strike by actors and performers.

In July 2023, they said the movie would come out on June 14, 2024.
