Just before Kathy Griffin and her husband, Randy Bick, were going to celebrate their fourth wedding anniversary, Griffin asked for a divorce.
She filled out papers for the divorce in a Los Angeles court. She said they started living separately on December 22 and can’t fix their differences.
She wants the court to follow their agreement before they married in 2019. Also, she doesn’t want the court to give any money to either of them after the divorce.
Griffin and Bick got married in a surprise ceremony in 2020. It was quick and fun. They’ve been together since 2011.
Griffin wore a unique dress for the wedding that she wore on their first date. Bick chose it, saying it reminded him of their first time going out together.
Before Bick, Griffin was married to someone else from 2001 to 2006. She’s a comedian who got in trouble for a photo with a fake bloody head resembling the then-President Donald Trump.
She’s been through tough times with lung cancer and addiction. But she’s back doing shows, and she’s grateful for the support of her fans. She even managed her recent performance in Las Vegas all by herself.
