Synopsis

Production of Sometimes I Think About Dying
In October 2021, people discovered that Daisy Ridley secretly filmed a particular movie in Astoria, Oregon. The news about the project was officially shared in December 2021. Daisy acted in the film and helped produce it, and Rachel Lambert directed it. The script, written by Kevin Armento, is based on his play called “Killers” from 2013. Stefanie Abel Horowitz and Katy Wright-Mead also worked on the screenplay. They were all involved in a short film with the same name in 2019, and Stefanie directed the play in 2013.
The movie’s story takes place in a small city on the Oregon coast. When Daisy Ridley spoke at Sundance, she shared that she could relate to the character Fran. Fran sometimes feels down, like she’s not worth much, and other times she feels great. Daisy found Fran interesting because, like her, Fran can sometimes be a bit annoying. Fran only occasionally wants to join in on activities or talk about food. She sometimes feels separate from everything, but other times, she wants to be a part of things. Daisy connected with these aspects of Fran’s character.
Release of Sometimes I Think About Dying
A new movie called “Sometimes I Think About Dying” was first shown at the Sundance Film Festival on January 19, 2023. In April 2023, Oscilloscope got the rights to show the movie in the United States. Vertigo Releasing got the rights to show it in the United Kingdom in May 2023. The movie is planned to come out in the United States on January 26, 2024.
